Hi
I don't know about you, but I follow a lot of ABA Facebook groups. Doing so helps me keep on top of what's going on out there in the field, and it's allowed me to connect with practitioners who are out there doing amazing work.
Although I've been meaning to have Becca on the podcast for quite a while, there was a recent post in the Business Builders group that really got my attention, and I definitely wanted to get Becca's take on it.
I can't recall the exact wording of the post, or who actually wrote it, but the question that was posed to the group was something like this: "For those practice owners who have been in business for a while, knowing what you know now, would you start your own practice again?"
I've been happily self-employed for over a dozen years now, so I anticipated a lot of respondents to echo my feelings. I could not have been more shocked. Not all, but a large number of group members shared that they would not have started a practice had they known how difficult it can be.
So it is with that spirit in mind that I'm chatting with Becca, who not only is a pro in terms of running a successful ABA practice, but she is someone who also mentors other business owners, whether by
direct coaching, or virtually with her awesome podcast.
So if you have questions about business ownership ... whether you're considering going out on your own, or whether you're an "old hand" at this and are looking for perhaps a different perspective, please send me your questions for Becca, and I'll be sure to work them into our conversation.
All the best,
Matt
