While the majority of Behavior Analytic activity goes towards supporting individuals with Autism and other disabilities, Behavior Analysis has made great strides towards understanding how drugs interact with behavior.

 

It is with this in mind that I'm really excited to speak with Dr. David Cox. We plan on covering the basics on understanding drug use from a behavior analytic perspective. From animal studies to human clinical trials, there's a lot to dig into here. 

 

If time permits, we may even get into the exciting use of Psilocybin (i.e., "Magic") mushrooms for the treatment of all sorts of substance use and mental health challenges.
