Hi
I have been getting requests from school based practitioners to feature more content about BCBAs working in educational settings. If you are in this camp, consider yourself heard!
- Who is actually the client when you're consulting to a school?
- Ensuring parent/guardian consent, and involving them in the treatment planning process.
- "Drive-by" ABA consulting.
- Knowing special education and other important laws.
- School based ABA literature in non ABA journals, and,
- Practicing within one's scope of competence.
I touched on some of these topics in
my solo episode on school consultation, but I predict this will be a much deeper dive, and will likely focus on the ethical challenges of practicing in these settings.
As always, I'd love for you to join the conversation, so let me know if you have questions.
All the best,
Matt
