Hi
Great news! Dr. Greg Hanley is joining the Behavioral Observations Membership group next week for a Q & A session, focused on implementing the Practical Functional Assessment and Skills-Based Treatment approach in a Telehealth model.
This idea was spearheaded by Session 95 guest, and podcast supporter from-day-one,
Celia Heyman (thanks Celia!!!).
Our agenda is straightforward: Celia is collecting questions on PFA/SBT telehealth practices in advance, and during the call, I will pose said questions to Greg.
We have scheduled this for
April 16th at 1:00 PM, Eastern. To attend, you must be a member of
The Behavioral Observations Membership group, which costs the princely sum of $9/month (about the price of a mediocre cocktail at a chain restaurant... remember restaurants?).
I don't mention the membership group all that often, but you can think of it as my DIY Patreon (more on Patreon in a bit). The membership group provides near-instant access to video recordings of the podcasts. These recordings are just the conversations themselves... no introductory ramblings from me, no music, and no ads... We just get straight to the point and provide members the interview itself, very often weeks in advance of its publication.
We also get together about every eight weeks or so to do a membership hangout. During these hangouts, I bring a former guest into a Zoom call, and members get to ask questions and converse with these folks directly. These conversations are recorded and archived in our private Facebook group, which allows people to view the hangouts later if they can't make the live meetings (to be clear, with this particular event, we have one hour with Greg, and the questions will be collected in advance
and read by me, so it will be slightly different than our usual format).
Regarding Patreon, I will be transitioning the membership group into Patreon sometime down the road, as that platform offers a lot of neat tools that I hope will enhance the value for subscribing (think ad-free podcast feeds, bonus episodes, merch, etc...). You'll hear more about this later on in the spring or early summer.
Anyway, returning to the original point of this email, consider signing up for the membership if you want to attend this unique event with Dr. Greg Hanley next week. With the large scale service disruption in our field, I can't think of a more timely and important topic to discuss.
Thanks and stay safe!
Matt
