This podcast episode came from a Zoom call with Dr. Greg Hanley that was recorded on March 29th, 2021. As I mention at the outset, this call was the brainchild of Celia Heyman. She asked Greg to join the members of the ABA Study Group and the Behavioral Observations Patreon members for a special Q and A session, and lucky for us, he obliged!

Back to the episode itself, we started the session with me asking Greg about an essay he published a few months ago titled A Perspective on Today's ABA, which you can find over at his website, practicalfunctionalassessment.com. We got into a lot of questions on this topic, including what inspired him to write the essay, what "today's ABA" means to him, how students and practitioners alike can reconcile the differing messages on functional assessment that are prevalent right now, how he feels the PFA/SBT process aligns with Trauma-Informed Care, and much, much more.

Because it was a Zoom call, we also took questions from members of the audience. And here I will offer an apology if the facilitation of these questions comes off as a bit clunky. I was trying to read, and at times, edit, and then convey the questions to Greg in real time, which is an art I apparently have not mastered yet.
