We loved meeting Nana and John. Nana was in bed for an entire year with no energy, significant muscle loss and inability to move much of her body. They moved the bed to the living room next to the window so she could be with the family and see outside. She listens every Monday to Dr. Cowden's Q&A several times so she gets all of the nuggets of information. She credits her healing to these nuggets and the other information she learned from Healing ALS. It was a frustrating two year journey where she was trying all of the holistic things she could to heal and was not improving and even getting worse in some ways. Nana did not give up and kept educating herself and trying things and finally started getting results. She can now walk her dog around the block, she has plenty of energy for her teenage son, and can cook and move again. She is committed to spreading the word to her native Japan that ALS and other diseases are reversible. She just finished her second book in Japanese and is working on her third. Sunday July 23: Inflammation and Pain in ALS with Dr. Lee Cowden 11am PT, 2pm ET, 8pm Paris

Inflammation is an ongoing issue with many of those with ALS. Inflammation can occur with or without pain. Reducing inflammation is a major factor in reversing and healing ALS. Come find out more on Sunday.
