Behind the Scenes: "5 Minute IUD Insertion" Video

This is the story of the 5 Minute Pregnancy Video.

In the making of this video, I made some mistakes, which I discuss. The mistakes range from technical issues to conceptual errors. I also made some good decisions, which I'll pass along to you.

Behind the Scenes: "Fixing BCP Problems"

To understand BCP problems and their resolution requires understanding the physiology of how the pill does what it does.

I discuss some of this physiology, but mostly I discuss the mechanics of production of this type of video.

OSCE Station: "Post Dates Counseling"

This station combines knowledge of the issue of post dates pregnancy, with the communication skills to properly counsel a patient in this situation.

I provide all the materials needed to reproduce this station, or to modify it to meet your own educational purposes.

OSCE Station: "Placenta Previa"

The student sees a patient for a routine OB visit, only to discover she has a recently-determined placenta previa at 34 weeks.

The OSCE module requires the student to properly counsel the patient, now at 34 weeks gestation, about dealing with this clinical problem.
