This is a behind the scenes look at the 5-Minute Wet Mount video.
I discuss the development of this video. I cover some technical issues I encountered during the project, and solutions that worked and those that didn’t.

Behind the Scenes: Common Bleeding Problems

Dr. Hughey discusses the evolution of his 10 minute video lecture on common bleeding problems.

Originally developed for the Navy, the lecture developed into a civilian version, and ultimately a video lecture for students.

PBL: "Teaching Informal Lecture Techniques"

Some of these PBL presentations could be quite elaborate, with multimedia PowerPoint slides.

The problem was, the presentation style was overcoming the content.

The other problem was that if the PowerPoint projector were ever not working, the students would generally be at a loss as to how to proceed.
