By listening to your clients (and using their answers to inspire your content) you take a shortcut to content that resonates and converts.
Some people will suggest doing interviews after the fact, which is great (because time changes things), but I like integrating this genre of question into my onboarding and even discovery interviews so that I always have a supply of client insights.
This month, we’re going to cover four of my favorite client insight questions to use for content inspiration.

prompted you to work with me?
This is a pain point question.
You’re asking what broke them out of their status quo and what got them to consider bringing on a freelancer to support their needs.
I like this one at the discovery level because the language you get back is highly useful for creating future campaigns of your own.
