It's been quite a while since we have been in contact. Like you I imagine, life has become something we rise to navigate each day with as much love, peace, and grace as possible. For me, "being present" has taken on an entirely new meaning as Covid-19 continues to surround us, and as the searing effect of racial inequity and political turmoil is deeply felt. I believe this is a time of radical awakening for all of us.
Knowing this, what does "being present" mean to me? It means I hold the intention in body, mind and spirit to remain prayerful, lovingly kind and hopeful. It means entering the day with a prayer in my heart. Usually this is a prayer of gratitude for the many blessings I have been given; for my precious family, for good health, and for the comfort of home. I intend to enter sleep at night with this prayer in my heart too.
What is your prayer these days? For yourself? For others? For the world?
Prayer, as I have come to understand it, may bloom through words or silence; when sitting, walking or lying down; through art making, dancing or communing with nature. Every thought, every act, every encounter can be a living prayer.
In tenuous times, my prayer for you is that you will be free of pain and suffering. That you will know that goodness and mercy are real. Love and Grace too! And that when your mind is calm and clear, your heart open, all things are possible.
May ease be yours today. You are ever in my heart.
One-on-Ones with Me
Lovely One, for a multitude of reasons, I have chosen not to offer in-person or new online programs, workshops or retreats for the remainder of 2020. I have found increasing joy and satisfaction in the 1-on-1 work I do with people through spiritual guidance
(direction) and mentoring. Spiritual care is so vitally important at this time! I am enjoying my sacred space, "working from home" and honoring my natural rhythms and inclinations. It's such a blessing to be able to do this and also STILL be of service to others.
If you have spiritual needs and are looking for guidance and companionship, please reach out. I'm here!
I'm back to doing some blogging "lite." Bits of wisdom that might help you through your day, keeping you aligned with your truest self and the Sacred, however you understand it.
