It's Spring where I live and I am feeling the thrill of its soulful call: Holy Newness. 'Let us begin again', it sings.
This call croons through the tender refrains of mourning doves and cardinals. With gentle raindrops falling from cloud-filled skies. With green sprigs poking their sweet heads out of loamy soil. Like these gifts of nature, I wonder what is holy and sacred in you that wants to be made anew?
Even with these luscious signs of newness, we may not be feeling thoroughly free to rise and soar. Covid-19 is still here. Racial inequity, political and economic concerns too. There are many issues that weigh upon our hearts.
I pray that any heaviness or stuckness you feel may not overshadow the Love that is always present; the possibilities for peace and justice that are eternal. May you know that you are loved, precious and a force for Good in the world. Let us remember that we can always begin again. Holy Newness calls us forth.
All Blessings, All Love,
Jan
