Keep Rossmoor Safe - Slow your roll to 25 MPH
Hi
These nice upper 70s and lower 80s days look like they will continue into next week before a gradual warm up to the upper 80s by
next weekend.
Now is a great time to water our trees, especially young ones. Heat stresses trees when they don't have enough water to stay
healthy. Please take some time and deep water your trees and the trees in the parkway this week. Our urban forest thanks you and so will future generations of Rossmoor residents.
Street Sweeping - Monday & Tuesday
This is the third
week of September, so it means that sweepers will be here Monday and Tuesday. Please make sure you move your vehicles and waste carts from the street on the appropriate days. Clean streets help keep the ocean clean and protect our ecosystem. Please do what you can to help.
Community Services District Meetings
The next Rossmoor Community Services DistrictParks and Facilities meeting will be Tuesday, September 20th at 8:00 am at Rush Park. There was no agenda posted for this
meeting at the time of writing. The last meeting discussed pickleball. If you’re unable to attend, you are asked to email comments to President Jeffrey Rips ([email protected]), Director Nathan Searles ([email protected]) and General Manager Joe Mendoza ([email protected]).
We invite you to share your thoughts and questions with us before September 28th so that we can select Rossmoor's most pressing issues as questions for the candidates during the live Town Hall event.
The Los Al Cross County Team is asking you to search your closets for those unwanted, gently used clothing items and shoes. Once you find them, please collect them in boxes or bags, and bring them to Rush Park on Saturday October 15th from 10:00 to
Noon.
In addition to clearing our space in your closet, this collection event helps support the XC Team's 100+ students by providing funding for equipment, uniforms, supplies and coaching fees.
A tax receipt is available for your donation at the event. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact Rothany Kubis ([email protected])
