Hi
Today we start our cool down for the weekend. We should be in the mid-80s today and upper 70s for the weekend before climbing back
to the mid-80's next week.
The best long range forecast we have (remember this and $5 should get you a cup of coffee at the Farmers Market today) says that we
might get some rain at the end of October, but nothing between now and then except our typical beautiful SoCal sun and clear skies.
The Rossmoor Certified Farmers Market
Remember
TODAY, the Rossmoor Farmers Market is happening at Rush Park. Meet some neighbors, grab a snack or cup of coffee, and support our local vendors. Keep the Market the happening place it is becoming. The Market is open from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. See you there!
Candidates Forum Tonight
We are all set
and coming down to the wire for our 2022 Meet Your Candidates Town Hall forum. It's tonight starting at 6:30 at Rush Park. After you grab dinner at the Farmers Market, step into the cool Rush Park Auditorium and join us as we ask our candidates the questions you wanted to know. While there will be no live questions from the audience, being there to hear their response will help make this "mid-term" election real. And it is. Ballots will be in our homes in just a couple of weeks. Come out and get
informed so you can make your vote count.
We've created a Vote 2022 hub page to help make it easier for you to learn more about the candidates. We have posted their photo and when available, their website address, a video introduction message to Rossmoor and their response to our neighborhood questions.
We've been asked a few times for a direct link to each candidate's profile page, so here they are (click on the candidate's
name):
Congressional District 45 (map): Jay Chen, Michelle Steel
State Senate District 36 (map): Kim Carr, Janet Nguyen
Assembly District 70 (map): Diedre Thu Ha Nguyen,
Tri Ta
LAUSD Trustee candidates for Area 3 (map): Rona Goldberg, Diana Hill
RCSD Board candidates (map, 2 seats):

Rips, Jo Shade
Did you see this?
Chis "Papa"
Forehan, Rossmoor resident, RHA member, and School District Trustee made a deal with the students at Lee...and after they came through, he (willingly??) got SLIMED. Check out the photo. Thanks Chris for all you do for Rossmoor, our kids, and our community.
