Hi
The winds have arrived in SoCal. It's mostly today with the wind advisory ending tonight at 10:00 p.m. The strongest winds in our area will begin to
diminish late this afternoon. We should see mid-70s for the weekend. A great time to get some outside activity going.
HUGS - Rossmoor School PTA - Dine-Out Fundraising
It's Rossmoor School's turn for the Dine-Out Fundraisers. The flyers are posted on our website HUGS page. The remaining restaurants from the week long promotions are Chipotle tonight, Jersey Mikes' all day tomorrow (Thursday, 11/17) and Polly's Pies on Friday (11/18) from 5 to 9 pm.
The Friends of Rossmoor School has Sees Candies available until 12/2, to support the school's STEM programs. More info and the link to share is on our HUGS page.
Los Alamitos/Rossmoor Library Book Sale
Our wonderful Friends of the Library are having a book sale on Thursday (11/17) and Saturday (11/19). Stop by and pick up a book or two for the holiday. Or maybe you're in need of a mystery gift exchange gift. What better than a few books in a box? It could be a great conversation starter. In any case, stop by the sale this Thursday or Saturday.
Rossmoor Toy Drive for The Youth Center
It is that time of year to kick off the Rossmoor Toy Drive that benefits The Youth Center. Help local families who are struggling this year with a gift or gift card. We will have more details on the program in our next email (this one is getting longer than expected already!). We will be collecting from Saturday (11/5) all the way through the
Rossmoor Winter Festival on Saturday December 10th. The flyer below has the details.
