Hi  It looks like we will have a bit of a warming trend that will take us into the mid-80s on Wednesday and then back into the low 70s
for the weekend. Â The evenings will remain in the mid- to lower-60s which makes it much nicer for sleeping and walking in the
neighborhood.  Street Sweeping Monday & Tuesday On Monday and
Tuesday this week the Street Sweepers will be here to sweep our streets and pick up that first round of leaves and debris. Please be helpful and move your vehicles (and waste carts) from the side of the street that is being swept. It helps the sweepers and it helps the environment. It's a win-win. Thanks for your support. Â October's Get Shredded - Saturday October 29th Bring your shredding to our free quarterly shredding event on Saturday, October 29th at Rush Park. We'll be there from 8:00 until noon. hope to see you there so you can be
rid of all those documents you want to shred before the holidays arrive.  ALSO, the OCSD will be holding a "Drug Takeback" Event on 10/29 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rush Park. So if you have any unwanted or expired medication or drugs, you can drop them off after you drop off your shredding. The Drug Takeback is no
questions asked, but they cannot accept sharps. Â Did you see this? Â First District Supervisor Andrew Do visited us last week at the Rossmoor Certified Farmers Market and then held a coffee with Rossmoor residents to ask questions and to learn a little more about how Rossmoor fits into the
County. Thank you Supervisor Do for stopping by. Photos and more details here. Â

New Sweeping Reminder Signs To Be
Installed |
Due to popular demand and regulations, the Orange County Public Works Department will begin installing no parking signs on streets throughout Rossmoor. The hopes are that these signs
will help remind people which side of the street is being swept on which days. The reminder sign program should help everyone be much clearer about when they need to move their vehicles (and waste carts) from the street. The signs will begin to appear the week of October 17th and will eventually become part of every block in the tract. It’s Not About the Signs, It’s the
EnvironmentRemember, that it’s not about the signs or the parking ticket you may get for ignoring them. It’s about our streets and the way they affect our environment. Everyone plays a part in keeping our storm drains clear – just because you don’t see things in your gutter,
doesn’t mean your street is clean! Keep our oceans (we drain to Seal Beach) clean. Our families (and fish) swim in them!
