Hi Happy Halloween! Please watch for
kids tonight when you're coming home from work or picking up your family. The neighborhood will be busy. Weather-wise we should have comfortable upper 60s and low 70s all week long. It may get a bit cool on Tuesday and Wednesday nights
with lows projected in the low 50s and upper 40s. It's almost feeling like fall has come to SoCal. Sweeping on Tuesday This Week Tuesday is
November 1st, so it is a sweeping day for the EVEN addresses. Yes, it's a little odd when the 1st of the month lands on a Tuesday. The good news is it won't happen again until next August. Please move your vehicles and waste carts off the EVEN side of the street on Tuesday. Fear not, a week from today, the odd sides will get swept. Successful Shredding & Drug Take Back Events We had a great turn out on Saturday for you shredding event with more than 150 vehicles driving through. And we kept the OCSD/DEA officers busy with their drug takeback filling more than 10 boxes with turn in medications before we left
at noon. Thanks for coming out and supporting these events. Our next shredding event will be on January 28th. We hope to see you with your shredding at Rush between 8:00 and noon. Thanks again to Play It Again Sports for helping to cover the costs. Did you see this?

Reminder Signs Popping Up All
Over |
True to their word, OC Public Works has been adding these No Parking reminder signs to blocks throughout the neighborhood. We are fortunate to have such a high-quality, responsive, and conscientious Public Works Department working on our
behalf. These new signs are
placed at the beginning of each block (intersection) for that side of the street. This first wave of signs appears to be in the north part of the tract, but there are signs installed on parts of Tucker and other more southern areas as well. You can expect signs like these to be installed on your block within the next few weeks. In total there will be 400-500 of these reminder signs installed in Rossmoor to help us all remember which specific days we need to remove our vehicles (and waste carts) from the street. Remember every Thursday, the Rossmoor Farmers Market happens at Rush Park. Meet some neighbors, listen to some live music, grab a snack or cup of coffee, and support our local vendors. Keep the Market the happening place it is becoming. This week's featured vendor is Mimi's Cotton Candy. Mimi's is amazing - especially as a company. Many parents have probably seen her cotton candy at our Rossmoor School events, she generously shares her profits for fundraisers - the kids love the special treat. This is not ordinary cotton candy - the flavors are incredible - and she has samples every week. As
for the cupcake picture, no -- she is not selling those at our farmer's market. That just an idea of what you can do with her cotton candy. Many people find cotton candy to be just "too much" to eat "as-is", yet it adds such a special, festive touch - especially candy-centered holidays, like Halloween and birthdays. A cotton candy accent on a cupcake, spreads the cost, the sweetness and the taste - for all to enjoy. Just enough YUM! The Market is open from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. See
you there!
