Hi ,
It's true. Energy materializes. Thoughts, feelings, words, and actions become physical. We see it happening every moment. You might not want to think about the energy that feels stagnant or stuck . . . and that's okay. But it's a good idea to deliberately clear old energies and make room for new energies of a higher vibration to come through.
How to Clear Out Old Stagnant Energies
1. Start with an intention for higher vibrations - aspirations, peace, joy, play, health and happiness. It may seem backwards, but I believe Stephen Covey has this idea as among the first in his Seven Habits book to "begin with the end in mind."
I remember wanting to clear out my den some years ago. Bookshelves filled with papers and old textbooks from my biology teaching days felt like too much stagnation, yet I couldn't seem to get away from it. Laying on the floor and looking at a blank ceiling helped. It was clean and clear - no clutter. I repeated to myself, "zen den," and my goal finally emerged as a place of peace.
2. Do what it takes to shift what you can't see. Focus on the elements as your guides.
Air- open windows, smudge with sage and palo santo, spritz essential oils into the air.
Fire - burn a candle, laugh out loud, jump around to create heat in your body and revitalize stagnant energies inside you.
Water - yes, go ahead and wipe or wash everything. Freshen, move, and stir things up. Rearrange furniture. Create a flow in every space so energy moves.
Earth - Find and honor the directions in your space. Place crystals accordingly. White to the North, Yellow to the East, Red and Orange to the South, and Black or ocean colors to the West.
