That's me at my college graduation, standing next to my ever-so-proud mother. We went through a lot together, and I learned so much from her.

Obviously, I feel there were many things my mother did RIGHT. I'm grateful to be here, and I'm grateful for the love and care my mother gave me to help nurture and shape me into who I am today.

BUT . . . AND

I wish things could have been different for her. When she got her diagnosis, it was already pretty late. Maybe she thought she could hide it. Maybe she was afraid of what she'd have to endure. It was horrible, of course. AND I wish I knew then what I know now. I could have helped her more, the same way I help people now.

What did she do wrong?

Maybe the biggest mistake was unavoidable. We didn't have the same choices then that we now have. She put her trust and faith in modern medicine to heal her. She gave up her personal power and let them poison all of her cells . . . even the ones that could have helped save her.

What did I do wrong?

I didn't have answers for her. That was my biggest problem. As a trained (and pretty smart) biology teacher, I wasn't trained in anything natural about healing. You should see my arsenal now! I learned what nobody could teach me back then. In fact, it's a big part of what I do now - helping people learn what they've never known to be possible. 

Everything I do, I teach.
