Hi ,
That could be me in the photo, and I hope it could be you, too. One of my favorite things to do is to feel the earth. I like to lie with my back resting in the grass, knees bent so I can feel my bare feet also directly on the ground. There's nothing quite like feeling grounded in this amazingly simple way. It means I'm not in front of the computer (which is really nice) but it also means that when I do return to indoors and electronic connections, I'm SOLID and ready to shine my
light. I feel ready, strong, present, and CLEAR about my life.
I almost sold my house and moved away from Portland a few years ago. You see, I was having trouble with coming to terms with radiation poisoning from Fukushima, unbearably cold winters, and fear so strong that I wanted to run away. We even had our house on the market (with nowhere to go). Crazy, right? What CAUSED my fears to surface so boldly affects everyone, which is why it's so important to mention it again - even at the height of summer, an incredibly joyful time for being
outside.
I'm talking about being GROUNDED - feeling connected to the earth, certain, decisive, strong, safe, protected, . . . you get the idea. When you're not grounded you have trouble making decisions, feel unsure about "everything" including relationships, job, or life-in-general. Your health suffers. Fear dominates your life in subtle ways - you might not even know it's there, controlling your life. That's when it happens. You forget how BRIGHT you are! So, don't forget to do your favorite
thing. It really matters.
I took a look through my archives and found
Grounding to Heal. It's still as relevant today as it was then.
