That sweet spot of meditation and a strong intuitive sense often eludes even the masters - people with lots of practice. Yet, it's not always practice that gets you to effortless spiritual awareness, the THETA brain waves. Let me clear up some misconceptions about intuition, , and then I'll share with you how you can easily activate your
intuition.
Three Misconceptions About Intuition
1. It takes lots of practice to develop your sense of intuition.
This is false because everyone has intuitive skills. People (and all animals) are intuitive by nature. No practice is required to have this gift.
2. Women are more intuitive than men.
The degree of intuitive ability isn't based on gender or social expectations but rather individual awareness. Developing a sense of awareness of intuitive feelings is needed for both men and women.
3. Intuitive people can read your mind and tell the future.
Though this may sound a little scary and off-putting, intuition doesn't work that way. Being intuitive means you're open to divine guidance and awareness. Judgement, your opinions, thoughts, and beliefs have no place in using your intuition.
So, how do you activate intuition?
Accept that you have a gift. If you wish to become more aware and develop this gift, there are easy ways in which to do so. One way is to become familiar with the actual feeling of brain waves during intuitive times. The theta brain wave is most active during meditation, and immediately before falling asleep of just as you're waking up. Get to know that
feeling.
We can also train the brain to go to the theta frequency faster using tuning forks and binural beats.
