It's easy to find reasons NOT to do something . . . it's inconvenient, no time, no resources, no knowledge . . .
and yet, this morning I found the perfect opportunity to fit in a few minutes of Qi Gong practice while outside with my puppy.
It wasn't a complete practice. Some might say it wasn't perfect.
I only got in 3 or 4 of the moves, interrupted frequently by
Bridie grabbing my attention as she dug a hole, chased a bird, or pruned a shrub.
Badjuanjin is a medical Qi Gong practice consisting of eight movements that help harmonize with energy centers in the body. Not only does it feel great and energizing, it's a form of moving meditation.
Accompanied by the waning moon reflecting the morning sun, damp fresh air filled my lungs - deep inhale, arms up to hold up heaven . . . complete exhale on the bow to release. So even if my experience didn't look like the youtube demonstration, I got what I needed for my daily practice in just a few moments.
How would you like to fill your day with such moments?
I'm putting together a do-it-yourself course for daily practices, learning new skills (like breathing, meditation, and sound), energy clearing and grounding tips, crystals and essential oils, and . . . so . . . much . . . more . . . !
