I held my first grandchild on Saturday. Just one day old (born on the 19th) and he has already captured my heart with quirky yawns and smiles, and a softly padded bum, all wrapped up in flannel. He's a child of the Spring Equinox . . . a perfect statement of new beginnings and hope for the future.
(keep reading for my special offer in celebration)
If I could choose when to be born, it would be just at this time.
I'd take the gift of Spring to invite the Spirit of the East, hummingbirds, yellow flowers, and the sweet smell of damp earth to awaken my sleepy soul.
We've all been a little sleepy lately, don't you think? Dark days, isolation, fear, injustice, and loss could demand more presence . . . or your attention could instead be drawn to awakening.
Spring invites us to get outside and plant flowers, move around more, and clean up inside and out.
Spirit calls us all to awaken our energies, breathe more deeply, speak more calmly, and get excited about LIFE.
