There's some rough stuff happening in the world.
Many of us are watching what is happening in Ukraine
with our hearts in a knot.
Please, hug your children. Help them feel loved and safe.
Then, take care of yourself.
Do what you need to do to feel loved and safe.
For some parents, that's watching the news. For others, that is limiting the amount of news you watch- only getting updates.
For some parents, it is taking action and donating money or other supplies to those in need in Ukraine, or even locally, to be able to do something, anything, to make the world a better place.
For some parents, it means being closer to family and friends and appreciating that connection. Others need space and time to process all of this.
I would encourage you not to get stuck.
Feel the feels and do what you need to Take Care of the Care Taker.
I'm here to help. Join me next week as I present on how to talk to your children in times of adveristy (see below) or connect with me for some One-on-One time.
This is a tough time but you are tougher.
And it's OK to be tough with support.
