I have a little secret to share near the end...
Many of us have appreciated our teachers and our children's teachers over the years.
However, the pandemic gave a whole new found meaning to appreciation for some parents.
Whether it was how much the teachers actually teach when they have 20-35 wiggly bodies in their rooms or how exhausting it can be to re-direct a child (or children) over and over and over, more parents now know that teachers are amazing.
Here are a few ways you can
appreciate your child's teachers
Write a note. Have your child write a heartfelt note to their favorite teachers. You could also write to a teacher you have appreciated - one of your child's or one of your own!
When written from the heart, these notes are treasures and make a teacher feel recognized and appreciated.
Sending a copy of the letter to the teacher's boss (i.e., principal or superintendent) is an unexpected and delightful surprise for most teachers.
