When was the last time you treated yourself to somethingÂ
you thought was fun?

There are a lot of heavy things happening in the world today that can bring you down. Â It is so important to your mental health to sprinkle in things that can bring (or help hold) you up. Â One way to do this is to think about things that make you happy. Â Things that are fun for you.

As parents, after we focus on all the responsibilities we have,Â
we often get caught up focusing on our children's fun.
Â
While I am a big believer in encouraging your children to have fun (responsively and respectfully), you shouldn't have to give up your fun.
Â
So... I'll ask again. Â When was the last time you had fun?Â

As I schedule this tip to send out on Friday, I am packing for a conference I haven't attended in almost 18 years. Â And I am planning to have A LOT of fun! Â I'm also planning to share what I learn with you over the next few weeks.
