As the majority of our after-school programs have begun their Fall semesters and with State Tournament Events approaching, many parents of more advanced players have been asking what learning options we have for USCF 800+. Please see a couple of options below.

WEEKEND CLUBS are weekly in-person 'drop-in' group classes that provide a great combination of casual/competitive games and quality instruction (scholastic-only). You do not need to pre-register or commit to multiple weekends; you may simply show up at any BAC club on any weekend you want and make payments at the door! We have 5 clubs active almost every weekend (in Palo Alto, Fremont, San Jose, Santa Clara and Cupertino). Regulars may benefit from our discounted bundle option: Purchase 10 clubs for the price of 8!  More on Clubs Here. 

One such Club is specifically designed for students above 800 rating. This Weekend option is hosted at the BAC Office on Saturdays, 12pm-2pm.  More on that here: 

BAC Drop-In Online Class 1100+!
2-hour Online classes, every 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 11AM-1PM, hosted by Grandmaster Steven Zierk.
Students: USCF Rated 1100-1800.
This 2-hour GM-led class prioritizes Tournament play/analysis for 
Adult OR Scholastic Players! 

The next session is on 9/16.
Tuition: 50 for two hours (single session purchases only)
