I have 3 templates you can use today to make one of your own (I made the first 2 templates specifically for this email). If you really want a deep dive, we have more detailed resources on making lead magnets.
Project Costs Spreadsheet
If you teach people how to
run service businesses like coaches, interior designers, graphic designers, personal trainers, etc, you know that one of the hardest things for new business people to get their heads around is how to charge for what they offer.
Tools like this cost estimator spreadsheet are helpful because it helps people think about their time and its value, and gives them an artifact
they can share with their own customers.
Make One of Your Own
- Open the Template: Project Costs Spreadsheet by clicking this link to copy.
- Fill in the project and client details in rows 2 - 5.
- Add items that you'll be charging for in rows 8 - 17. You do not need to fill in column F. It will automatically fill
based on the values in other columns.
Checklist
If you’re looking to get up and running with a lead magnet fast checklists are one of the best places to start.
It’s easy to overlook how valuable the expertise you have is, but people really value that stuff. If you’ve spent years learning about fitness, productivity, design, etc the time you’ve poured in, the mistakes you’ve learned from, and the tricks you’ve figured out are things that other people see as magic.
Checklists are also great because they let folks make initial progress and start to feel the benefits of the service you provide. So they’re great natural leads into purchasing your service.
Make One of Your Own
- Make a copy of the "Template: Checklist" by clicking this link to copy.
- Update the placeholder
content, logo, and links (in the footer) to your own content.
Email Mini Course
If you’re a course creator, coach, or educator, a free email mini-course is the perfect way to show off your expertise, build a relationship with new subscribers, and then promote your paid course at the
perfect time.
An additional benefit of these email courses is that they get your audience used to engaging with you and getting value from you in email, so these mini-courses can be a helpful way to shift your audience off of a social platform (where you don’t own the relationship) to your email list (where you do).
If you want to learn more about making email courses, we’ve got you covered.
