Palo Alto: Our very popular Palo Alto camp will have a very special instructor this week! Along with IM Faik Aleskerov, and Coach Jason! Beginners and advanced students alike will benefit from our amazing team of coaches, which will also include a volunteer scholastic player that are ranked among the best in their age group. All coaches know how to make the camp fun and exciting and it will be a great experience for complete beginners to the most advanced.
San Jose: Leading this chess camp is the very popular Coach James with Coach Alan!! Our St. Leo the Great school location is fantastic as we have an enclosed school area in which to work and access to the indoor basketball court. We also have access to outdoor play so we can include enjoyable outdoor breaks and play time.
Burlingame: Our Burlingame location at Kohl Mansion will headline GM Atanas Kolev! The venue is fabulous and we will have an amazing opportunity to learn and be inspired by chess and the chess grandmaster. | Chess Camp welcomes any child of 5 years or older.. Prior chess knowledge is NOT required to attend the camp, we regularly get absolute beginners, beginner and intermediate players at these camps. Each 4 hour instructional block consists of: 1. Chess puzzles & creative exercises to sharpen the brain. 2. Group instruction & Personalized coaching to improve chess skills. 3. Casual play to practice and enjoy Chess. 4.
