No idea what I was doing in the middle of nowhere.
I was sitting on a bench, watching random dance videos on instagram and talking to my dog Benji 🐶 the Shih Tzu simultaneously. But he was not responding.
That's when I looked up and my heart stopped.
He was not next to me!
As I looked across the road at the woods on the other side, I saw 6 hooded men chasing Benji.
I have no idea what got into me ( I think it's called the power of love) but I had got to the other side of the woods and managed to get Benji before the bad guys got to him.
But they were not going to let us get away that easily. They were ready to fight, and so was I.
I was crouched on the road holding Benji in one hand, staring at the hooded men who were also in the same postion as me for some weird reason.
It was just me - 5 ft 4 inches me and this tiny cutie, against 6 hooded men and one of them was all that was required to take me on.
But for some reason they were not moving to attack us. They were just staring and seemed to be frozen.
That’s when I wondered.
What can they see that I can't?
And when I looked back, that's when I saw the army of angels behind me. There were so many angels who looked like warriors waiting to take on my enemies.
Now I woke up from that dream
both in awe and shocked.
You know when you see a dream and it feels real. This was one of them.
The shock of how real it felt and the awe of Heaven’s power and grace.
On Friday I read this passage from the Old Testament. I didn’t know this story earlier and it got me so excited that I had to share it with you!
2 Kings 6:15-18
"The man of God sent word to the king of Israel: “Beware of passing that place, because the Arameans are going down there.” So the king of Israel checked on the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he was on his guard in such places.
This enraged the king of Aram. He summoned his officers and demanded of them, “Tell me! Which of us is on the side of the king of Israel?”
“None of us, my lord the king,” said one of his officers, “but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom.”
“Go, find out where he is,” the king ordered, “so I can send men and capture him.” The report came back: “He is in Dothan.” Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there. They went by night and surrounded the city.
When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked.
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha
This line is what made me want to share my dream with you.
"Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
I hope you remember that, even though you may not be able to see the promises of God in your life yet and life may not be how you would like it to be..
GOD IS STILL IN CHARGE AND HE IS MOVING ALL THINGS AND WORKING ALL THINGS TOGETHER FOR YOUR GOOD.
, pray every day for God’s protection over your life and those of your loved ones & start believing the promises GOD has spoken over you today through this message.
Until the next time, stay inspired, blessed and happy always.
