Transforming How We Grow and Eat Almonds (Webinar with Tim Richards) + Europe Announcement from Raleigh

Published: Tue, 05/16/17

Greetings ,
Feels like this month has flown by.  It was great hearing from
alot of you last week about what you were working on.

This week, we wanted to bring on another young
regenerative entrepreneur who discovered and ran with
his dream, Tim Richards.

Tim was an ecology enthusiast and an ecovillage volunteer
until he ran a kitchen experiment which changed his life.  He made a batch of sprouted almond butter, and a lightbulb went on in his head.
Tim had an epiphany that he could start a business based on a product
he loved, and that could fuel his greater dreams of Ecological Restoration.

For the last 5 years, Tim has been creating and launching sprouted almond butter and coconut butter products, and has been growing his business at a steady pace. Eventually, Tim aims to close the loop by starting several Regenerative Almond Orchards across California.  Quite a transformation in a few years time.

Join us for the webinar, and take a look inside of Tim's business, and also learn how almond farming could be transformed in the near future.
Raleigh's Adventure in Europe
You'll have to excuse my absence on Thursday, because I'm heading over to Europe, and taking my bike on a cross-European research tour!

I'll be visiting Rewilding Projects, Regenerative Farms, and Ecovillages across the old world, working my way from Northern Germany, to Austria, Slovakia, and then Italy, Portugal and Spain.  If any of you are along that path, I'd love to visit and show some of your work to the world.  Just send me an email and an idea of where you are.

The SDMC Discussion Group
This will be the last time we post this in the email for the foreseeable future, but the SDMC Discussion Group is up and running on Facebook.  This gives you instant access to replays, exclusive opportunities to collaborate, and question and answer sessions with the webinar presenters.  It's a great place to start collaborating.

Here are the shows we have coming up in the next few weeks:
