A few hundred of you took the time to watch Tony Rinaudo's webinar since we released it 36 hours ago, and amazingly, we have gained over 200 dollars in pledges on patreon since we announced our switch.
That's a fantastic start, and today we are releasing some more amazing webinars that have been publicly unavailable until now.
First we have
Bren Smith's Greenwave organization. Bren has pioneered a method of regeneratively farming the ocean through kelp forestry. This is an amazing look at a system that has the potential to reduce dead zones in our oceans by consuming nitrogen-laden runoff from farms in our waterways, heal massive areas of our oceans, and make a profit in the process.
Then we have
Peter Allen on Rewilding Farms & People. This might be one of the smartest and most informative webinars we have ever done, and it is absolutely mindblowing. Peter will walk you through the ecological history of the US and why mimicing savannahs is the most important way to farm in the US. Peter was pursuing a PhD in ecology at the University of
Madison, but then dropped out to create Mastodon Valley Farm. Now he farms in Wisconsin and teaches one of the best in-person PDC's in the western hemisphere. If you're interested in Peter's classes, check out
Mastodon Valley Farm.
Finally, we have the first of a couple exclusive webinars we did with John Liu, famous for his documentation of the Loess Plateau project in China, and his work with Commonland in restoring ecological function and trumpeting its importance through crucial media projects. Watch John's webinar, on
Mass Ecological Restoration in a time of Crisis.
If you love learning about these important subjects and the people doing this crucial work, please consider sharing your favorite and supporting our new Patreon account. If we have 500 people commit 10 dollars a month by Dec. 31, we will keep Sustainable Design Masterclass alive. 16 of you made that pledge yesterday, and it means a lot to us.
Thanks and look for more releases later this week!
