About 8 years ago I quit a cubicle job to move to Saudi Arabia and work with tribes of bedouin to restore productivity to their landscapes and recreate rural economies in the desert south of Makkah, in an endeavor called the
Al Baydha Project.
Three years ago, i began the
terraform series, a set of webinars based on my experiences in the desert and how we were succeeding in our objectives. Sustainable Design Masterclass has essentially lived off this series, as it generated about 15000 in income since its release. This week we released it onto youtube for free. We're also adding other desert &
dryland workers to the playlist, such as Nicolas Netien & Brad Lancaster.
If you haven't subscribed to our
youtube channel yet, I highly recommend it; we're releasing new webinars almost every day through the end of the year, with some really amazing people.
If you love learning about these important subjects and the people doing this crucial work, please consider sharing your favorite and supporting our new Patreon account. If we have 500 people commit 10 dollars a month by Dec. 31, we will continue making webinars. 40 have made that pledge so far.
Thanks and look for more releases later this week!
