Webinar Replay: Healing Communities and Ecosystems with Water Restoration
Published: Fri, 03/26/21
Hey folks,
We're floored! Almost 300 of you showed up yesterday for our session with Zach Weiss. We dove deep into examples and strategies of practitioners who were capturing water and rehydrating their landscapes. Zach went over examples from his work, the work of Sepp Holzer, Rejandra Singh, Willie Smitts, and communities across the world who are leading
their own projects to restore watersheds. In case study after case study, we learned how the communities who launched water retention projects were able to boost their livelihoods and bring back ecological stability in just a few short years. Overall, we learned how Decentralized Water Restoration could give us the most direct way to repairing ecosystems and climate stability at low cost. It's a fantastic webinar, with some kick ass animations thrown in, so don't miss it.
