I found this poster leaning up against the wall, in the basement of our new house, on Greentree Road, Lexington, KY! When I was eight years old, and I had NO idea who Jimi Hendrix was-- I just thought this was a cool poster. This poster has traveled everywhere with me. After an eight-month wait, I just got the poster back from having it restored and framed! It was worth the wait!

AN EXAMINATION OF BLUES-ROCK GUITAR IN A TRIO SETTING
There’s nothing more exhilarating for a guitarist than taking center stage and fronting a power trio. Witness the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Clapton and so many other masters of this genre. It’s also a lot more challenging than it looks and that’s the premise for Kelly Richey’s Power Trio course, which focuses on the key elements, creative approaches and techniques that define the
genre.
”We're going to focus on the essential techniques and specific elements that are used when playing guitar in a blues-rock power trio. We'll look at rhythm and lead guitar techniques and how they overlap, working together seamlessly to create a powerful wall of sound. I'll also focus on the importance of creating musical ‘holes’, the power of creating space and how to work with a drummer and bass player to create a unique sound that best
supports your guitar style.”
