Dear partners and swimming friends,
The
season is changing. In years gone by, this would be the time of year when swimmers pack away their kit and go into hibernation or return to the pool. No longer. Since the pandemic, there has been a surge in interest in winter swimming. Articles about embracing the cold are always among our most read content. This makes the autumn an ideal time to engage with swimmers, and we have lots of activity happening at the Outdoor Swimmer HQ that could help
our B2B partners expand
their reach.
See
below for a
snapshot and please contact Yvonne or
Stuart for
more information or to share your ideas.
GROWING TEAM
We have welcomed two new
digital editors to the team, Jo and Abi, who will be spending dedicated time on the website and newsletter, growing the visits and content and looking at even more ways to connect brands to our passionate audience online.
MONTHLY THEMES
Each month the magazine and other Outdoor Swimmer channels look to focus around an interesting theme for outdoor swimmers.
- September: Back to School / Learning - multiple opportunities on the website and newsletters still available, see the ratecard
here
- October: Health benefits of outdoor swimming
- November: Changing seasons. Winter, but not as you know
it
- December: Rituals and celebration
Outside the themes there are also general opportunities for driving sales, gathering
data and interacting with outdoor swimmers so please get in touch.
MAKING CONTENT WORK FOR YOU
Our writers are skilled at turning ideas into readable and engaging content. We've found that paid-for content in the form of advertorials can be an effective way to reach a wide audience across our channels and drive traffic to the sponsor's products. As well as print, we can place advertorial content on our website and then share links through our newsletter and social media. If you would like to discuss building advertorials into your marketing, please
contact Yvonne for more details.
CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE
We are finalising the details of our Christmas Gift Guide, which we will share in an email to you next week. Please register your interest with Stuart if you are keen not to miss out.
