Our May issue
and activity is all about 'spring refresh, wells and water' as we enjoy spring swimming and head towards summer. It's a peak time for our audience as they head to their closest swimming spots, finalise event plans, book swim holidays and of course get kitted out.
We are also taking the opportunity to refresh our popular weekly newletter. With over 36,000 keen outdoor swimmers lapping up our content, an average 36% open rate and thousands of click throughs our refresh will offer you even more opportunities to engage with our audience. See below for a sneak preview of the design which will be
launched in the next month.

Swim festival (9th July). This is a fantastic opportunity to meet swimmers face to face so do come and join us in the event village to inspire and influence swimmers and spectators.
Our new Digital Editors, Jo and Abi, have experience in mainstream consumer lifestyle, specialist and independent magazine publishing. Their breadth of insight is
helping to enhance our approach to delivering timely audience news and inspiration as well as supporting brands with video and social content. Jo explains her vision:
“We’re so excited to launch our new and refreshed editorial newsletter. ‘The Dip’ will be a distinct and valuable editorial event, which will build on the content
threads of the print magazine and become an anticipated part of the Outdoor Swimmer portfolio. Compelling editorial is a gift for our audience, giving something of value back between issues while
fostering trust and loyalty. As well as articulating how Outdoor Swimmer can help readers become more competent, confident and responsible swimmers, ‘The Dip’ will also create more
potential for creative partnerships and deliver maximum click throughs with new opportunities to sponsor relevant sections. It will also be archived on the website, adding further longevity to partnership content.” Watch this space.
We
will be joining swimmers on Sunday 9th July at the Outdoor Swimmer Henley Swim Festival. Check out the new event video profiling the event village area where brands report healthy sales and engagement with swimmers. You can expect 5,000 swimmers and spectators and a strong dwell time for superb exposure. Email Stuart if you would like more information.
