The October
magazine will include a 16-20 page inserted supplement all about training and technique. Whether a pool swimmer, outdoor swimmer or both, this supplement will be packed with advice, guidance and inspiration for improving swim technique and getting a PB if that is the swimmer’s goal.

You may have seen a few of our supplements this year including the Escape Swim Travel supplement in January, and the bumper 24-page Events
supplement in April. They are not only hugely popular with our print readers who receive them with their magazines but we make them available on our website as free digital downloads and in our app as free-to-view special issues. In addition, we promote the supplements to our email database (37k) and on our social channels (60k plus). We allow clickable links in the digital editions of supplements to drive traffic directly to your website.
Why?
The Outdoor
Swimmer audience includes a mixture of leisure and competitive swimmers. Typically the autumn months are a good time to focus on improving their swimming. Many return to the pool but this can also be used for outdoor swimmers. This aims to help our audience make a plan and have a goal to improving their swimmers to a variety of levels.
When and where
The supplement
will be in the October print magazine, digital magazine and also available for free to non-subscribers via the Outdoor Swimmer website for a whole month sign posted on the home page and in a solus email to the 37k database. This email for other supplements has had a strong open rate for the easily readable supplement with click throughs to videos and articles outside the bespoke guide.
