We know 2023 has been a challenging year for outdoor swimming in the UK. The cost of living crisis and increasing concerns about water pollution have prompted some people to rethink their swimming activities and spending on swimming events
and services. Nevertheless, the case for swimming outdoors remains strong. It still offers plenty of health, fitness and wellbeing benefits, and continues to attract new swimmers. Swimmers are proactive in searching for advice and information and we’ve seen very positive responses to the creative marketing campaigns we’ve developed with our partner brands.
We are now looking ahead to 2024 and new opportunities to deliver inspiring content for our readers and drive sales for our commercial partners. The January magazine deadline is the 8th December should you wish to inspire readers early in the new year.

Be part of the Outdoor Swimmer Events Guide in 2024. Put your event, or brand, in front of thousands of swimmers as they plan their annual challenges. This year’s guide will be included as an insert
in the March issue of the magazine, shared as a free download in our email newsletter and available on the Outdoor Swimmer website. The estimated readership is 20,000 to 40,000 and we know readers keep and refer back to the guide multiple times as they seek out new events.
