Just to catch everybody up... Back in December 2017, I posted a video suggesting that it was time to start having deeper conversations regarding Awesomism Centers. I was then told to wait and see what came of it. Two Awesomism
Practitioners with whom I had not spoken to in a while contacted me saying they were interested in participating in this process.
I shared Riley's vision with them, and they shared their visions with me. Soon after I was introduced by one of them to a women in North Carolina who has over a 100 acres of land of which she envisioned at least part
being available for a center for children.
We have had several conversations since then and she suggested that we not think about "if" this project would come to fruition but "when" it would come to fruition. So far, it feels pretty remarkable, to say the least.
At the beginning of March, I
called upon several parents that I have worked with whose children are highly conscious, non-verbal autistics. I asked them to read the vision that Riley had given me, make suggestions, and provide me with other considerations that I may have missed. Riley was always clear that this Center would be a sanctuary for children, where they would have the physical and spiritual support to offer their wisdom first to those closest to them and then to the
world!
From that meeting came an architect whose sister is, among many other expressions, a beautiful non-verbal autistic young woman. Her sister had shared that at some point the architect would be called upon to use her professional skills to support the creation of centers for awesome kids.
This architect has offered her services as part of her calling. As it stands now, the architect, the owner of the land, two of the young adult non-verbal autistics and their parents, along with several Awesomism practitioners and facilitators will meet in North Carolina in April to walk the land and determine our next steps.
As a
side note, I went to see Amma last week when she was in Phoenix to receive a blessing for this project. While I was waiting for the blessings I made my way to the back table to browse. I was drawn to a coin that I flipped over, only to see the image of the universal blueprint, which also happens to be very similar to the blueprint that Riley had given me for the foundation of the Center!
I am feeling more than grateful right now and I will keep you posted as we move forward.
