Hello Mystery Readers,

I'm excited to announce that the latest John Santana novel, Speak For The Dead, will be
released the first of October, 2017. Here's the synopsis:
I'm excited to announce that the latest John Santana novel, Speak For The Dead, will
The brutal murders of two young women in the caves along the Mississippi River pull St. Paul Homicide Detective John Santana into a case with all the telltale signs of a serial killer. Except that one of the victims doesn’t fit.

Santana’s search for answers unearths connections between the first victim, an NTSB accident investigator, and the crash of an airliner off the California coast. He soon finds himself embroiled in a complex investigation that takes him from St. Paul, Minnesota to Washington DC and ultimately to Colombia in a race to thwart a dangerous technology that could cause a global economic meltdown. In a case fraught with internal and external politics, Santana must speak for the dead, while trying to finally make peace with the past.

I'll be looking soon for ten to fifteen readers who would be willing to read a free copy of
Speak For The Dead and to post a review on Amazon as soon as the book is released. More
information will be forthcoming.

Stayed tuned for  upcoming opportunities to win copies of the other Santana novels.

Congratulations to Rick Paukert who won the contest to have his name used as a character
in the new novel and thanks to all you who sent in the correct answers to the five questions
from The Darkness Hunter.

Many of you have asked about Santana's Gypsy, who plays a significant role in the novels––especially in Speak For The Dead.
So here's a photo of our Gypsy. She hasn't saved our lives yet, but
she certainly has given us a world of joy and laughs, as well as
loyalty, love, and companionship.

For those of you in the Park Rapids, MN area, I'll be signing copies of
my books at the annual author's fest sponsored by Beagle Books on Saturday, June 10 from 11:00-3:00.

On June 15, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. I'll be discussing and signing copies of my books at the St. Angelo Public Library in Cumberland, Wisconsin.  More events will be added soon. You can stay up-to-date by visiting my website at www.christophervalen.com

Sincerely,

Christopher
