Results of 30-Days of Being Kind :)

Now that you know why and how to do 30-day self experiments (see my previous emails to you!) … I wanted to share some results from one of my best experiment;

Experiment = 30 Days of Being Kind to Strangers / Weak Friends

Why this experiment? Well, one day I was sitting in the library and ignored a friend who could benefit from my kindness … but I was too busy texting / browsing on my phone. Read the rest of the story here.

Here is the important part.

After I helped him, I felt happier and good about myself. It turned around my whole day and made it memorable!

So I said, why not make an effort to be kind and help people everyday?

It will be a win-win! I will be happy and so will they :)

Luckily, it was as easy as 1-2-3;

  1. Notice - Look around and see if you can be kind to people
  2. Smile - Make yourself approachable and friendly
  3. Help - When you see it, try to help them

Here are the HAPPY Results (after 2 years)​​​​​​​

Being kind to others is now automatic for me; I call my friends on birthdays (instead of just SMS/Text), I smile and help strangers, I say something nice to my friends, and I just notice, smile, and help :)

Here is how it has helped someone for whom I wrote a birthday letter;
