Best Las Vegas Sunset Tour
|
Sunset tours are indeed very special. Some call it doing the Canyon during the "golden hour" because of the light. I'd agree. Another important fact: these tours depart once a day and are very, very limited. If you find yourself in
the position to book one, do it. ASAP. Otherwise, it's gone. Last factoid: these tours only use the EcoStar 130, so you have plenty of headroom and a 180-degree wraparound window for perfect views. Go here for details...

Got some free time to do the Canyon while visiting Las Vegas? Definitely consider our air-only tour. Total tour time is 3.5 hours and you cover all the bases, including Hoover Dam, Colorado River, the Canyon (of course) and so much
more. Further: Try the deluxe version of this tour. It includes free hotel transfers by limo and an extended tour over the Vegas Strip. Hand's down, this is the one tour that over-delivers in a HUGE way. Go here more info...

South Rim Heli-Jeep Sunset Combo
|
Our hottest South Rim heli/Jeep combo yet! This particular one includes a Sunset jeep ride. If it's sold out, try the basic package. I know it's not quite the same as the Park during twilight, but the regular Jeep is just as cool and you get to see more things than the average traveler. The air-segment goes from the South Rim to the North Rim and back. The guided 4x4 Jeep ride is 2.5 hours and includes two lookouts. More info here...

South Rim 50-Minute Deluxe |
Sure, there's the ultra-cheap 30-minute heli ride. But if the Canyon is part of a bucket list or you want to do it right because the Park is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, then you want to stay the course and
do the 50-minute ride. This tour includes the South Rim and the North Rim (where the buffalo roam!) and also includes the wild beauty of the East Rim (Desert Watchtower, Hatch Rapids, and more). Get more details here...

There's a NEW airplane tour in town and it's the Skywalk airplane. This tour departs from Vegas and gets you to the West Rim in 45 minutes. Time on the ground is up to 5.5 hours and includes a VIP pass to the insanely awesome
Grand Canyon Skywalk - the glass bridge that lets you walk up to 75 feet over the the edge. Includes free hotel transfers. Currently, seating capacity is at 50% of the aircraft so book it the minute you decide to try it...

It's now the official season to do the Grand Canyon. That means tours are filling up and selling out. So if you want to do a heli ride, say, in September, get it locked in now. I know it sounds like a long lead-time but even those seats are getting snatched up. Go here for more reasons why it's smart to RSVP.

I get a ton of questions about Vegas helicopters and Hoover Dam. So much so that I wrote this post. It goes over the basic flight plan and what you’ll see. I recommend you read it if you are wondering if your Vegas tour includes hovering over the incredible Hoover
Dam.
