And you thought the
Grand Canyon Skywalk was thrilling (it is). Here at the South Rim, you've got Grand Canyon Village, which is comprised of early 20th Century buildings that host restaurants, Native American handicrafts, hotels, gift stores and a ranger station. My favorite is Hopi House, which is based on a Navajo Pueblo replete with
sandstone blocks and wood beams. Lookout Studio and the El Tovar hotel are also faves. And don't forget about the Bright Angel Cabins. List goes own. Here's a list of things
to do and see at the South Rim. Just south of the National Park is the Grand Canyon National Park airport, and from there you can do a
helicopter tour or
an airplane tour. Whatever your plans entail, adventure calls!
