There's a term for sunset at the Grand Canyon. It's the "Golden Hour." And for good reason. It's absolutely peaceful and still and tranquil. The light is a painter's dream. And the Canyon? Well, it's at this moment when it stands in full majesty. That's why the
sunset tour is one of my favorite rides. It departs from Vegas and goes over Lake Mead,
Hoover Dam and Colorado River before landing gracefully on the Canyon's floor. Deplane and it's time to toast over a
Champagne picnic as the River's flow whispers near you. The walls of the Canyon are draped in robust shadows as birds and other critters you'd never expect to find 2,500 feet deep in the earth exist. Then it's back aboard and off to the Vegas Strip as dusk settles in and the neon lights
pop. This Vegas segment starts by rounding the Stratosphere Tower and heading south to the Mandalay Bay before alighting on the tarmac. It's a heck of a ride. But it's limited and that's why I strongly recommend
booking it at least 2 weeks in advance of your desired flight time...Good luck and see you here!
