The photo above on the left was me when I was 165 pounds. (You can read more about this transformation on my blog at MEET GINA MARIE.)
No one wanted me to lose my "thickness." And even though I ended up losing too much weight (due to my lack of understanding nutrition and exercise at the time), I'm glad that old weight released itself because it allowed me to be able to rebuild on a cleaner foundation.
And so if you're someone who just starting on a plant-based diet, assuming that you are eating enough calories, but you're noticing that the weight is still coming off, that weight may NEED to come off of your body.
Plant-based foods are rich in fiber unlike animal products. Even the calorie dense foods like avocados, nuts and seeds, peanut butter, contain fiber and fiber is like a broom. It likes to just sweep stuff out of the way that does not belong there.
The solution to this issue of holding on to dangerous curves is to just let go.
Prioritize your health before you prioritize having a big butt. Trust me, when you release all that negative stuff that you accumulated and you start to build your curves over on a cleaner foundation, it's going to look better and you're going to feel better as well.
Next week will be talking about another common mistake and that is NOT CONSISTENTLY eating enough calories.
Stay tuned.
Blessings,
Gina Marie
