Solstice blessings, On June 21st, we enter the summer season with a day that has been celebrated for thousands of years – the Summer Solstice!
Shared on @herbalacademy At this time, the daylight lasts the longest of the
year and it is often said that some plants also are at their peak potency having absorbed the essential qualities of the sun. Whether this is believed to be true or tale, we often find ourselves feeling greatly expansive in this season. Indeed, more energy might
be required – not just for the long hours of light – but for the often externalized quality of this highly anticipated season. The solstice marks change, and as with any change,
the transition of seasons requires more presence and support for our body, mind, and spirit so we focus on tuning into the rhythms of the earth in order to re-center ourselves and feel more aligned. If you’re looking for an intentional way to do the same, we’re pleased to share our Seasonal Rhythms Meditation Intensive with you! In this four-season series, author and meditation guide Anisah Amat shares a thoughtful and guided meditation for each solstice and equinox throughout the year. These meditations are lovely invitations to invoke the essence of each season within us and to embrace each phase of ourselves and nature – whether it be the renewal of spring, the expansion of summer, the abundance of autumn, or the restoration of winter.
Join us for a Summer Solstice meditation over in The Herbarium today!
