We talk a lot about how to get our parent voices heard at IEP meetings.

I think if we had our own children and some of their friends attend IEP meetings it would make a positive impact not only on the tone of the meeting, but also the outcomes.

What has been your experience with your son or daughter attending their own IEP meetings? Have you ever had their friends attend with them?

Nelia Martins Nunes, an awesome advocate of inclusion for her daughter Sabrina, recently asked this question and I invited her to be our guest so we can explore this topic.

Join our live show on Thursday, Jan. 11th at Noon Mtn. Time, 2pm ET, 1pm CT, 11am PT.   Set a phone alarm now and be with us on my
