I use it to highlight parts of the meeting and to email it to the parents. I don't spend time editing it. If there is a part that doesn't make sense from reading the transcription, I just listen to that particular part. I also use it to check the accuracy of the meeting minutes and what might be missing from the Prior Written Notice. It's easy to edit the text.

You can export the recording and transcription as a pdf and print it, or as an audio file, or SRT file for captioning. Get directions that are easier than putting together IKEA furniture :)

Did you know that 38 states and the District of Columbia have adopted a “one-party” consent requirement. Nevada has a one-party consent law, however the Nevada Supreme Court has interpreted it as an all-party consent law.

Eleven states require the consent of everybody involved in a conversation or phone call before the conversation can be recorded. These states are often referred to as “two-party” states but, technically, require that all parties to a conversation must give consent before the conversation can be recorded.

Busy time of the year. Have you been to an IEP or ARD meeting this fall?
