Parents have really specific information that they need from the staff working with their children.

The cookie-cutter, generic notes aren't going to cut it.

Would you like some new ideas and easy ways to decide what information you need from the school and see options for what that School-Home Communication can look like?

I've got you covered.

When the educators know more about your child and you know more about what happens at school, the more successful your child will be.

I know you'll be intrigued by the ideas shared in our live training. For instance:

* make sure there are minutes in your child's IEP to allow for consultation time between staff and with families

* give options for how your child can report what they did at school

* share a Google Folder with staff to keep photos, video clips, Google docs and work samples

* write specific description of what School-Home communication will include, how often it will be sent home and who is responsible for the communication.

NOTE: If you aren't getting the info you need from the staff, set up a time to have a conversation with them. Discuss what would be helpful for you to know. Work together to develop an easy and meaningful communication tool or strategy.
