Should I smoke my turkey? 🦃😎❄️❓

Today's plan. This week's goal.

Today I'm going to bake a turkey. Or I'm going to smoke it - I haven't decided. It's much warmer outside this week compared to the constant below zero temps we've been having. Today's 36* will feel like summer. So yes, I really might fire up the smoker outside.

But anyway, the plan tonight is to eat turkey and mashed potatoes. Then with leftover turkey and the bones from the turkey, I'll see how far I can stretch it, like this. Doing this is such a great way to save money on groceries.

But will I actually get ten meals this time?

Malachi moved to an apartment. The kids had more snow days. Our church building had a frozen pipe that burst and caused water damage. It was quite a week!

Cereal is expensive.

But off-brand bran flakes are cheap. I use them to make this Bran Muffin recipe and they are so good. Yesterday I baked a double batch. Today I used leftovers for breakfast. I cut the muffins in half, buttered them, then warmed them in our air fryer for a couple of minutes. Oh man, are they good this way.
